Well, it's finally official. I have a flight to leave on Sunday. I will have a layover in San Francisco and then on to Seoul!
My apartment isn't ready so I will be staying in a hotel for a few days (courtesy of the school).
I'm off to finish my laundry and start packing.

Final Stages
I have created this blog as a means of keeping all of my friends and family updated on my adventure living and working as an ESL teacher in South Korea.
I'm wrapping up my final days here in America. I won't be back on American soil in 2009--an idea that I still haven't wrapped my head around.
I'm getting excited and am glad the long process and all the paperwork is almost complete. Now, it's on to packing. Yesterday, I purchased a camera and all of the items I think I'll need over there that won't be easily accessible.
My passport should be returned to me with the work visa in it by Friday and the school is looking at booking my flight as early as Saturday. I'll post an update as soon as I have more information.
