The United States Embassy is pretty old and outdated. It's guarded but lots of Korean police officers.
The sun at about 5:00 in the afternoon. God bless pollution!
I've been super busy. The end of the month equals a lot of work. The kids all take their monthly tests on the last day of the month and we had to make our monthly lesson plans. I've graded all of the tests so now I need to write evaluations for all of my students.
I've still found time to have fun! This last weekend I ventured to another palace with Zach, one of Sebastian's friends that is also in Korea for one year. It was beautiful. The cherry trees are just beginning to bloom. Spring is in the air!
Here's a video of one of the busiest intersections in Seoul.
You can see the rest of my pictures on my Picasa album.
Last night, I went out with the teacher from Canada. We made some more Korean friends. We are always sitting at a table by ourselves and they come ask us to join them. Two of them were also English teachers. It's so fun to hang out with the locals.
On a side note, I started teaching myself to read Korean. It's actually not that hard. I just need to memorize the symbols and I'll be able to sound words out but I won't know what they mean. There's a free Korean class offered at one the colleges here, I think I'll check it out after I can read.
